I overheard two children talking at snack one day. They were discussing where they were born. One little boy said I was born at Sacred Heart......a little girl sitting next to him, said "I was born at Sacred Heart too". The little boy turned to her, very concerned and said"Really? I didn't see you there."

Who is Government?
Today the class and I started to discuss what it ment to be "Patriot". The students were asking questions about the flag and talking about the president. One of my kiddies stood up and stated "Mr. Obama is the government." He continued to tell the class how he voted for him.

Kicking and Crying....

Yesterday,one of my kids came into school kicking and screaming. I attempted to help him down the hallway while he was yelling and disrupting every class in building. When we finally got down to our classroom, (which happens to be on the other side of the building) he stood there and looked at me and said, "I'm just a little sad, I needed to sleep a little bit more today". Then... he was done. He stoppped crying and walked into the classroom tear free!
"Toys By Us"
After discussing types of building, we created a list of building while I attempted to draw a picture of each. One of the students said "ToysRus". So I sat there trying to draw the logo, when one of my kiddies screamed out "I have ToysByus too"!
More Potty Talk in PreK
One preschooler left the bathroom and another one entered. The little boy immediately came out of the bathroom and asked accusingly "Did you make it smell like pee pee in there"?
It can only happen in prek
So today, one of the boys in my class walked out of the bathroom....and looked at the little girl that was entering the bathroom after him. He smiled kindly at her and said, " I left the seat up for you".
